That feels really dumb and counterproductive, but I don't own a 2mm house that has bars in its windows, doesn't have curbs or sidewalks and is a block from El Camino Real, so....

Silicon valley really need greater residential density. They should teat them down and build high-rise apartments until rents drop by half.

Living in Seattle will be a huge wakeup call to capitalism. I once went to a farmer's market with $15 for lunch and everything was more expensive than that.
Literally any apartment is $1500/mo, so it is onerous. Maybe that's everywhere now though.

I had a friend that had a similar thing and they said it had to heal inside out. I helped him clean it and maintain for a couple weeks. It was odd but it healed perfectly.
