Yeah I have basically stopped watching sports entirely because I don’t want to put up with this bullshit. I wasn’t going to pay money for ESPN+ and still have blackouts.

I mean they wouldn’t “merge” with Apple. Apple would just buy them. They are in different leagues market cap wise. But it makes zero sense for Apple to buy such a low margin business (by comparison) with huge overhead.

I think he understands unions better than you do. There is probably some medical reason or someshit why they cannot patrol, and because of strong union protections they are given something else to do but get to keep all of their pay and benefits. That is what unions give you. Every union I have ever been involved with on the private side was like this.

There was a case recently where another PA hospital was challenged and they lost. IIRC it was because the way the law works in PA you have to not be "profit motivated" or something, and of course 99% of the executive's emails are about increasing profit lmao.
