It will be interesting to see what happens over the next 10 years. I find it funny that they will allow developers to chop down beautiful forest land (Bailey Rd) to build what will no doubt be a huge development of overpriced, cheaply built residential housing.

Interesting. Thanks for the detailed response. I knew it was a historic area but didn’t know the lengths they went to to try and keep it that way. Historic and quaint is great however if they really wanted to improve the center of town, I can think of at least 10 buildings that are in need of immediate repairs and cleaning up.

What’s the backstory to the Mobil awnings? I doubt the state will actually pull funding for affordable housing in any of these towns. It’s all a bluff.

There are adult indoor leagues at Teamworks in Northborough. I played there a few years ago and it was pretty good.

Bocado restaurant in Worcester has a really nice vibe and isn’t overly expensive.

Have you signed up with a cheaper supplier? Eversource will still bill you but you can be purchasing the gas from someone else.

I see people complain about Spectrum all the time but I have used them for 1.5 years for internet and I have had no issues whatsoever. We stream multiple tvs, two phones, 3 Alexa speakers and 2 cameras every day.

FYI if this happens, many municipalities will reverse some charges if you contact them and explain the situation of the leaky toilet and tell them it has been repaired.

None around here unfortunately. I’ve heard Foleys does a great fish and chip but have never been because their hours are weird. There was a place in Brighton many years ago called The Battery but it didn’t last very long.

The only way Solar makes sense is if you purchase the system outright so you can take advantage of the tax credits and accelerated depreciation. Most people are not doing this therefore the monthly savings from leasing are not significant enough to have it make sense. The technology is still relatively new and it should get more efficient and affordable over the next 10 years.

Parker power equipment in Holden is super reasonable. They have picked up and service my snowblower in the past for less than $200 including pickup, parts and labor.

Why wouldn’t you want it picked up and dropped off after? The fee is usually small and worth it.
