i tried to listen to this and i really wanted to like it but it's just not well done. 22 minute episodes with about 8 minutes of actual content, volume jumps all over the place and the same exact 3 second audio loop over and over and over and over and over. the guy who hosts does a good job but man this podcast needs a decent producer badly.

worcester does NOT have this. any large/bulk item like this that isn't taken at the transfer station needs to be picked up by Casella by appointment. a mattress costs $28.

that time of year? this is going on 8 months a year. landscapers use them for fucking everything, including blowing everything into the street. all summer that's all i hear all day, fucking leaf blowers. i'd 100% support a ban on them outside of a few months a year when leaf cleanup is necessary.

i don't disagree but something this newsworthy only being talked about on social seems awfully strange. something is off here.

it was 2 miles away [supposedly].

this may have been a conscious decision as to not alarm the entire school system about an unrelated, isolated incident where precautions were being taken only out of an abundance of caution.

Reply to Owl Shop closing in downtown Worcester after 76 years, reopening in New Hampshire by moisheah
i've always enjoyed the charm the storefront has even though i've never stepped foot inside. i think it would take a lot more than increased foot-traffic to keep this place alive. people don't smoke any more. i'm honestly amazed that a tobacco shop can even survive these days.

the shooting had nothing to do with the schools at all. i can understand some unease but again, the issues had nothing to do with the schools. do you have any articles about the second shooting because i can't find any.

for anyone wondering, the ride is very accommodating. there are no drops and you will not be left behind. the point is not the ride so much as the community. obviously it is a 15 mile bike ride so you should be able to do that. this is a great time and an amazing way to tour the city. you will have a great time. so tune up your ride and join us!

outdoor venues suck. they're just not good for music. the sound is usually terrible unless you're right in front of the stage and then there's that whole "weather" situation we have. also, don landgren is not even slightly funny.

well, the Hangover sucked and that's not just my opinion but also the overwhelming sentiment on this sub. i've never even heard anyone talk about Buck's. sounds like the canal isn't going to miss them.
