OP is arguing in bad faith anyways. 90% of people aren't wearing masks when they are out. Just walk around Boston on a Saturday afternoon. There are plenty of people out smiling at each other. At this point if I see someone in a mask, I'm going to assume they have a reason to wear one. I still wear one when it makes sense. Two weeks before my wedding I had one on everywhere so I wouldn't get sick. Immunocompromised exist. Older people exist.

At this point I'm glad voluntary masking has become acceptable because before 2019, it definitely wasn't.

I'm gonna be honest. Everyone of those towns are boring as fuck with meh school systems. Also if you need to commute at all to Cambridge, these are all going to be super long drives that will make you hate yourself. Seriously. I'm talking over an hour one way.

Super easy drive too from Boston. It's basically 95 the whole way and then when you get into Maine the speed limit goes up to 70.

I did talk therapy for about six months after the incident and I suppose some CBT despite my therapist not really calling it that. We talked a lot about how unlikely it was to happen again. Plus extensive dissection of my feelings on it and at like month two she encouraged me to go to the mall again. Instead of SSP I went to Natick. For the next few months I was going once a week and we talked about how it made me feel. At first I could only be there for 10 - 15 minutes but by the time I stopped going, I was fine spending the day there. I still won't go back to SSP because apparently shit happens there a lot and the memories are still to fresh but I can go to pretty much any other mall no problem now otherwise. I'm still a bit jumpy when there is shouting in stores or big bangs but overall I'm pretty much back to normal.

I was at the South Shore Plaza during a shooting and therapy helped me get past it. This kind of thing can cause PTSD and it's worth going and talking to someone if you can.

I was at one at the South Shore Plaza a year ago almost to the day of this one. Therapy helped me a lot if they are still having trouble in a couple of weeks it's worth talking to someone. It took me months before I could go back to the mall.

Not totally out of thin air. IIRC there was a school district that did have a litter box but it wasn't for furies. It was in the event of a school shooting and kids had no choice to go in the box.

You hit the nail on the head right here. My office just sent out a memo saying that you can be penalized for going over your 5 allotted sick days. Vaccinated employees are still coming in with symptoms and spreading it.
