Mafia history question.
Has there ever been a time when the Italian and Irish mob have been aligned or done favors for the other? Like, I don't know, the Irish mob performed a hit for the Italians or something similar?

That idea went out the window almost a decade ago when they realized that they not only did not have the tooling, nor the heavy industry. But also the brains needed to start, and back such programs. The people that would have helped usually leave for the US, or Europe after getting their degrees. Or more likely stayed in those places after getting said degrees. it also doesn't help that they are having to increasingly pay to upkeep their older weapons, models. Mainly ships etc. So the domestic arms industry has been pushed back as a result.
But the Government did built plenty of temples etc. So there's that.

Why did the Polynesians have Roosters with them on their ships? Did it really help with navigation, or is that just a movie trope?

Meanwhile as someone that lives in Memphis, Tn... we are way overdue for one. Several decades in fact, or if you listen to others well over a century.
But this is all a moot point if somehow the fault has shutdown or w/e (is that even possible?).

How did Rome manage to sustain the losses during the second Punic war? Was it mainly it's allies that took the brunt of the losses to Carthage? What happened to the allies of Rome after the war, did they become citizens?

I read online, earlier this week, that one of the biggest code breaking leaks/espionage was done by the Dutch against the United States after WW2. The method? Good manners. In which they got the machines, and even codebooks. Is that even remotely true, can't find anything online about it...

Did the Soviets ever bomb, like Britain and the US did, German cities? If so why do we never hear about it.
How did the Germans not discover Churchill was on a destroyer to meet FDR off the coast of Canada in 1941 when U Boats reigned supreme? If not occasionally sitting off the coast of the US, and Canada? Wouldn't a small fleet, not protecting anything, and heading in the wrong direction not raise suspicions?

The Cartels would be signing their own death warrant. In the early 90's(?) a Cartel tortured to death a DEA agent, they were wiped out not only by US law enforcement but other Cartels as they knew what NOT to do. And were more than willing to show they had nothing to do with the murder.
Now imagine if they even took a shot at say Biden, or any US Military force.

Now on to the question. Is there any evidence that Werner Heisenberg intentionally delayed or even sabotaged the German atomic bomb project? Seeing how news of Hiroshima it only took him a couple of minutes to figure out how the US/Allies did it, but he could not in 6-7 years under the Nazi's?

It is a great movie but the one thing that was always confuses me is after they destroy the Akula submarine and are sinking uncontrollably why didn't they just blow all the tanks and then surface? The threat was gone...

I know Egypt had Steel cutlery like knives etc but why did Rome never adapt to its' military? Especially after an entire legion was wiped out?

Why did the Ancient Egyptians after the expedition to the Land of Punt, not return and completely conquer the region? They did with Nubia that was the land of Gold, said region of Punt had incense etc.
Why would they have been comfortable with having to simply trade i.e. paying for said luxuries rather simply owning controlling the region as was done in Nubia?

Margin Call is a bit better I think. Only question I have regarding the movie is that when the board realizes what is about to happen why didn't they start offloading the bad assets right then and there? It might have been early morning US time but not in Europe, and Asia. Plus they had traders right there to start doing it.
