People in this city hate everything that’s new and edgy but want to also complain about nothing changes in the city. It’s a vicious cycle of self-loathing.

I paid water/sewer and utilities in my apartments so idk what kind of excuse that is. Tax and insurance don’t equate to the increased people are seeing.

I’ve had a lot of places and a lot of places outside of Worcester. That’s my comp.

Worcester just doesn’t have good pizza.

My wife actually just saw someone get their windshield smashed on route 20 smh.

Had a hunk fly off and smash my windshield on 95 near Kennebunk a few years ago. Almost push it right in. Some how didn’t crash and was able to navigate off to the rest stop. People think it’s nothing but you can legit kill someone.

Or…use said ladders to clean off the top of your van? Hmm.

Mamaroux’s smash burger is probably the best even if you can’t get it all the time. Always has a great crust.

Fair. Though I do live 10 minutes from the Auburn one and 18 from Northboro. There was a Sam’s Club in Worcester but it wasn’t profitable for them. I’m guessing there was a high demand for it.

What fast food do you even want?

I don’t shop at club stores so I could care less about a Costco.

MB Shrewsbury is a 5-10 minute drive and on the bus line. Wegmans is a short drive and super overrated. Hannaford is fine but you’re not really missing anything as someone who has shopped there before.

All of these things rank levels below affordable housing for people and better infrastructure/transportation. I don’t have kids but I’d rate the requests above about children’s activities ahead of corporations.

I personally drive 13 minutes to Oxford MB and do some local shopping at Maker to Main.

Agreed with most of that until you got to chain stores. Not sure what a corporation owned, cookie-cutter retail location does for the city. At that, I’m not even really sure what Worcester doesn’t have. Can’t picture anything that isn’t here.

Terrible. Losing a lot of good restaurants. I use to feel like we had an abundance of places to go in the city. Now, not as much so.

Yeah that’s true and I actually did enjoy the coffee.

Precovid I use to work out of a lot of the coffee shops in the city to get out of my house. These were my favorite.

Acoustic Java (roast their own and easiest place to work) New Tradition Birchtree (partly because of the food as well)

Fuel was pretty good but I like to support an Indy. I wanted to like Grid but I found the coffee to be pretty subpar.
