For what, exactly? I searched 'PATH' on Reddit and browsed back a few months but didn't see any post titles that seemed relevant for this. I could have overlooked something but I did at least try before posting here.

I never thought deeply on it but I would have expected the PATH railyard would be connected to allow cargo trains to deliver the cars or components for assembly there. I've seen open bed trains transporting other train cars on regular rails so it kinda leads one to think it might be the same case here. Also, when was the last time you saw a PATH car being transported via a road?

We were ahead of it initially but they were catching up as people pulled to the side to let them pass (as you're supposed to with flashing lights). We also pulled to the right side as they got closer but they changed from overtaking to 'flushing' cars ahead of them even though they had room to get through. Everyone was confused and it mucked up traffic for a bit. Eventually they decided again that it was time to pass vehicles again which is when we finally realized what they were escorting on the Oversized Load truck. Hope you didn't get stuck behind it for too long. We pulled off to go to H-mart but were with it for a while, since Journal Square-ish. Drawing a blank as to what that end of 1-9 is called for some reason.

Nice! Thank you for sharing that. Guess this was one of those 72 new cars. It did look in pristine condition from what we could tell in the rain with all of the lights. Maybe we'll catch sight of more. Interesting they'd choose around rush hour for the transit time instead of a less busy time on that road.

It would be and I'm mad none of mine turned out! I kinda hoped that maybe someone else had had some success. Trust me, I tried getting my camera up as soon as we realized what it was but at that point it had passed us! The rain, darkness, and so many police lights caused way too much glare.

Edit: Actually, one of my videos shows it if you look closely! Let me see if I can crop or enhance it a bit.

That's awful...sending all the love to everyone at Cangiano's. Scott was the first person I encountered there and he made the biggest impression every single time. We visited less than a few weeks ago and the usual banter and quirk was in full force. He, as usual, gave us more cheese to sample and, as usual, we bought a wedge of it. I'm really sad that he won't be around to keep us on our toes next time we visit.

That's awful, I hope you filed a report!

Also, expect to feel like an absolute hot mess tomorrow and for a number of days following. You'll definitely want to be preemptive with pain management and treatment. I strongly encourage having a doctor check you over even if you feel fine now. Major bruises have some risks of clotting and nerve damage.

Years ago my car was t-boned by a speeding SUV and I had injuries like that on my thigh from the middle console. Day of was painful but tolerable. Day 2 onwards was another story. That was over 3 years ago and I have constant nerve pain in my thigh where the bruises were.

M'kay. So, what about when you buy a phone that's advertised as the latest iPhone...but they give you a Samsung from 10 years ago? Or if you order food advertised as a 100% beef burger but they give you a salad? A gemstone they say is AAA grade but is really commercial quality or below?

The accurate use of words is important, as is having standards or criteria needed to use those words in the advertisement.

Not dismissing we need more affordable housing, etc, but to call something 'luxury' that obviously isn't is just shady bad practice.
