Not sure what exactly you’re looking for, but if you enjoy kids at all & are interested in working with individuals w/ Autism or other disabilities, behavioral healthcare may be a good avenue to look at. Whether that is being a direct support professional, or a behavior technician— it’s incredibly meaningful & fulfilling work, but very emotionally demanding. No degree required, typically just a high school diploma.

Bon Air Animal Hospital is absolutely lovely, I had an excellent first experience there when I brought my guinea pigs in. I’ve been to two other vets in the area, Lakeside Animal Hospital & Wellesley— both pricey, but Lakeside has taken care of MANY of my guinea pigs.
If you ever get hit with a big unexpected vet bill, I recommend looking into getting CareCredit, it’s a credit card that offers up to twelve months interest free to use on healthcare needs (and vet procedures). I was able to get one of my pigs surgery because of the card, nonetheless I’m still working on paying it off lmao.

The police who sit at the road blocks during the marathon are literally useless. I remember last year I couldn’t get out of my parking deck to go to work & I had to yell at the officers to point me in the right direction. Not sure what they’re doing there if all they do is sit & twirl their thumbs.

God it’s miserable. I commute from Shockoe Bottom to Parham and I genuinely just wanna bash my head into the steering wheel some days. It has definitely gotten worse.

Boooooooooooooooooo. I love how you think that personality correlates with dog breed. My parents are the loveliest people I know & they own a pit (who is also the goodest of boys). It seems like you have a bone to pick & we aren’t getting the full story. Nonetheless, this was a post for a lost dog & it’s been found, huzzah! Go do something productive & worthwhile with your Tuesday, dude.

Doesn’t matter. He is a child and the police are adults. You do not deescalate a child with autism using excessive force or restraints— it doesn’t work, it makes things much worse and is exceptionally traumatizing and harmful to the child. There are so many other scientifically researched & effective ways to deescalate in a behavioral crisis.
