Accountability in the corporate world is to shareholders or share prices. Firing people magically gets the share prices up.

Meanwhile CEO + top management getting big bonuses because share price go up when they lay off people.

It could if the Metaverse was designed nicely. Instead what you get is a virtual world that looks like its 10+ years outdated graphically. Avatars float in the middle of the air with with everything under their waist empty.
Its really just shit design and they spent 10b ++ on this crap. You have 10 year old MMOs that give better experience.

Infrastructure like roads/ports need to be built by your own government. China invested into its own infrastructure. The West invested into their own factories.
You can't expect the West to build your infrastructure for you.

Fellow Poco user here. And yes. Phone that does what I need at 1/4 the price of an Iphone. I want an Iphone but the price difference is too big.

Funny thing is US invented SI units lol. I don't think people understand what "freedom" means.

You know the article is written by the author right? He/she is the one pumping it up. There's only one short sentence where the official announcement was made its really a simple sentence.

There's like 1 sentence quoting the Chinese space agency and the 90% of the article is by the author.
If you have issues with the content of the article, its really on the author.

I think they use SI units like meters but since the article is for American audience it uses imperial measures.

Its not surprised Iran turned into a religious dictatorship after the revolution. That's pretty much how every country in ME is run except Israel. People on reddit seem surprised Iran isn't a democracy.

Last quarter profit is $4.3bn. $725m settlement is a joke. I am sure they are going to stop doing it.

Its funny how America and its Western allies invade countries and that's ok but when Russia does it, the whole world needs to stand up to Russian aggression.
Simply amazing double standards.

If you understand upper management compensation, salary is very small %. The bigger % is in shares. Meaning they can take a pay cut but their total comp might increase if they can get the share price up.
