No. From the description:
> For professional technicians only. All iPhones 11 forward will show non genuine screen message after changing display.
It’ll have the same issue. I’m pretty sure the only way to get faceid working properly again is to take to apple of an apple authorized repair shop

The screen was probably replaced with a non-genuine part. They disable Face ID on those devices.

Why? The Lock Screen is generally static it won’t use 120hz

The Lock Screen specifically doesn’t run at 120hz to save battery

Apple cares more about battery efficiency than a consistent 120hz refresh rate. Which is why it is more aggressive on iPhone than iPad when it comes to varying frame rates.

It’s ProMotion not 120hz. The whole point of ProMotion is to be adaptive with the content on the screen. It’s not a 120hz locked frame rate. For third party apps they have to support the higher frame rate on their end or the phone won’t use the highest frame rate in the app.

Reply to comment by trailing-edge in ELI5: Why do egg cookers need less water to cook more eggs? by trailing-edge
They don’t need to touch the water. That’s a sealed container. Put the eggs in with some water, boil the water and let the eggs cook in the steam.
This doesn’t work in an open container where you can’t keep the steam by the eggs

Reply to ELI5: Only the top layer of water freezes in a lake because this layer insulates the rest of the water but the water in a trough in a freezer freezes all the way through. Why? by gud_doggo
The freezer is generally a lot colder than outdoor temps even in the winter and amount of water in the lake is significantly greater than what you’re going to freeze in a freezer.
Also water in a freezer is being cooled on all sides. A lake is only freezing because of cold air over the water. There’s no cold air around or below the water

Reply to eli5 What happens to muscles when you stop exercising and is it hard to get them back? by sercetuser
Muscles are expensive for the body to maintain. If you quit using them, your body will break them down because it doesn’t think you need them anymore and it can better use the resources it uses to maintain them elsewhere.

No. That feature is required by law and cannot be disabled. They’re not legally allowed to make it disableable.
All cell phones are required by law to be able to make emergency calls

Reply to ELI5 why do your eyes adjust so fast to bright light but so slowly to darkness? by melig1991
Your eyes have to adjust quickly to bright light to prevent damaging them. That’s why going from a dark room into bright sunlight hurts your eyes. Adjusting to darkness takes longer because there’s no I’ll effects to it being slow to your vision.

Reply to ELI5: Is there any reason for having USB 2.0 ports in a USB 3.0 age other than price? by HugeLibertarian
Yes. It’s all about cost. You’ll still see usb 2.0 ports on cheaper computers because they’re more cost effective.
It costs more money to support faster interface standards and the people buying cheaper computers are less likely to need the speed of the newer standard so they use cheaper hardware.
