I wonder how that relates to illusions, if you didn't just bring that up to say it's intuitive either way. The reason I brought up programming is that in the process of codifying problems, we have to break them down in our heads, and there they can often look like graphs - which is what this is. So I thought it could be that other people aren't as used to graphs as I am.
