At the higher end of you budget I suggest making a personal shopping appointment at Bloomingdale’s. It’s free and there’s no obligation. I did it when I had a wedding with some odd requirements a few years ago. They ended up helping me get a dress that retailed for $300, but informed me of a sale and convinced me to sign up for a credit card, which brought it down to $180. I paid the credit card off immediately and never used it again. It’s now my go to wedding dress.

Reply to Does anyone know of a reasonably priced painter in Boston? We are looking for a painter for our nursery. The best quote we have had so far is $950 for ceiling, walls, baseboards and 2 doors. $950 seems like a lot for a 10x14 room. by lolotaylo
You could maybe look for a Jack of all trades handyman type who charges by the hour not the job.

They’re just saying please wear a mask, but if you’re going to be a dick don’t protest or send death threats. You can opt out of uniforms and the MCAS too

Reply to Laser tag in Boston--can we get a state of the state? by mccoypauley
Launch has a few locations with laser tag, none in boston proper. I’ve also rented video game trucks from a company that will bring laser tag to you, but I don’t have experience with that
