Can anyone recommend a massage therapist who understands bruxism and all the extenuating pain it triggers in the neck, head and shoulders? I saw something on a talk show where in L.A. they have a massages the face and they go in the mouth (gloved up obvi) and do to trigger point massage in the head and jaw to release tension.

Just watching it on TV it looked it could provide me soooooo much relief.

I am working on my stress but I also think some of the meds I'm on makes me clench my jaw subconsciously. I've having headaches and stiff neck, I believe all stemming from my clenched jaw.

Mouth guard is on order with the dentist, but it will take several weeks for them to get it made (they say).

Shredded latex pillow seems to fulfill my needs as a side sleeper. I’ve only transitioned to shredded latex the past 2 months but I don’t see myself going back to poly fill and def no memory foam.

I would google shredded latex pillow and go with the one that you can afford. My budget was $50, otherwise I may have gotten the Ferrari versions of shredded latex pillows.

I like that I can shape it to the level of support I need and it holds that shape well into the night and morning. They sleep cool and don’t hold heat (looking at you devil memory foam), which was a must for me as I enter peri-menopause.

Try a few brands out with guarantees, esp if you’re restricted with budget.

Edit: here’s a good article with reviews

Stole my response!

Soia & Kyo is a brand I stumbled upon at Nordstrom Rack. I bought it without knowing a thing about the brand. Paid $190 for a gorgeous down jacket with slimming, modern lines. Little did I know that it was $400 at full price. That was 7 years ago and I still get compliments on it whenever I wear it.

Btw I can only wear it on sub freezing temps, wind and no sun, otherwise it’s too hot. Literally just wear a T-shirt underneath.
