Apartments absolutely do consider DTI, I’ve worked in apartments for 8-9 years and it’s ALWAYS been part of our criteria as a company. I’ve never worked in Springfield, but I have worked at 4 separate companies and a total of 6 communities.

On the trash, take a picture every time you see it and include them in a Google review. Block out any apartment number that would narrow it down to JUST that apartment for privacy (it’s a terms and conditions thing).

If you want to be extra petty, take the trash bag and wrap the handle around their door handle.

Obviously not good advice, but it satisfies the petty part of me.

I don’t know if this will help you, but when my fiancé (now husband) and I took our engagement photos, we emailed the head of the photography department and asked if they might know a student wanting to do it for a set price (we underpaid, I’d have spent so much more). All we wanted was all of the photos, no editing. We had an hour or two around downtown, then went back to the department and we got a flash drive of all the pictures, paid him, never saw him again.
