Maybe bars like Plough & Stars?
But then they're loud places where you have to yell to be heard...

Considering the amount of people on Reddit who told me that all news channels are exactly the same they certainly do.

Yep!
I recently learned there's a similarly named "Sally O'Briens" in Somerville, but I never been there.

I dunno. I remember someone promoting Sterling (and Texas) here - it was quite a bit like a promo campaign. I hope its not one of those things.

For me its either them or RCN, but RCN is not available in Cambridge afaik

I agree!
I used RCN while I was in Waltham and I think Starry beats it in terms of quality/price. And both Verizon and Comcast seem horrible in comparison to both.

I think for me its mostly the price (15 bucks a month, which is laughably low). Also had no complaints about the service so far, but chances are it will get worse down the road.

You think everyone likes narrow streets?
Are you a city planning professional yourself? If not, you're offering your opinion, much like I do.

I guess its a matter of preference, but this might part of the reason why I'm not comfortable with NYC. Way too many people on the streets.
I like big crowds in certain settings, but not others.

How so? I'm not a big fan of large crowds and narrow streets rarely help to avoid those.

Cambridge is super walkable - the only thing I don't like is how narrow streets are.
Transit is mostly fine, as long as its not rush hour or you're not trying to get somewhere in Western Mass

There's book discussions happening from time to time at places like Trident. I went to one of those and had a mixed impression for the same reason. Great idea in theory, but noise/people eating food kills it somewhat....
