I buy strait orange oil furniture spray. I think I bought it at Home depot or Wal mart. It comes in a spray bottle similar to windex.

I have a simple black plastic Rubbermaid that we've been using for at least 7 years. Not fancy but durable and inexpensive!

My favorite is the Big Skinny Hipster model. it comes in leather or nylon with RFID blocking. Super slim, carries a ton of cards without to much bulk and last forever. My nylon wallet is at least 7yrs old and is still in great shape. I have close to 30 cards and cash in it and it is under 1/2 inch thick.

Why shred aluminum that you will melt anyway? I've melted aluminum on a crucible welded up from heavy pipe, the cans melted fine whole.

I love my Big Skinny wallet. you can find them online at Bigskinny.com . Not affiliated with them. They make in nylon and leather, a few different styles, RFID if you like and they carry a ton of stuff with turning into a "George Costanza Wallet"

I have used the radiant oil filled heaters to supplement our air to air heat pump in north Florida. I'm pretty sure it has 3 setting for wattage 1500 being the highest as well as a thermostat. It will run me out of our bedroom if I'm not careful with the settings! I'v been using the same heater , I picked up used, for years!

The spring is a BI- Metal strip that expands at different rates to tip the mercury switch and make contact.

Look back at the crap you are using today from 2045. It's just like special effects in movies... the original King Kong scared the hell out of people back then. It was cutting edge! It all looks like crap if you wait long enough.

Liquor store boxes are smaller but much stronger! or look for corrugated plastic produce boxes, they deliver corn in them where I live.
