I was like 'who the hell would buy this' and then I thought 'hmm, wouldn't mind a little propane tank on my work desk'.

Well done propane scale model dispensing machine guy, well done. 👏

Reminds me of the Firefighter Friends gacha set in Shenmue 3. It's like six different mini fire extinguishers and an axe.

I just dropped like $50 on gacha that had poseable realistic mantis and turtles.

They look amazing in my plants though.

Yeah, Japan has some weird gachapon machines. Anime characters, game characters, even bugs, and cars I understand. But they'll have ones with replicas of food or random work equipment. And not just one or two of them, loads of the fucking things!

I've never gotten into model train stuff, but I've always been fascinated by the miniatures and thr detail they put into the settings.

I would never think of judging someone for collecting things like that (I've spent the last week or 2 making a phaser model from Star Trek, I'm not in a position to judge!).

It's just, who would have ever come up with that? Who would think "you know what people will buy? Tiny gas canisters!"
