Does anyone know where to get CO2 refill for 5g tank? I used to go to Airgas in Manchester but they denied me saying they aren't selling CO2 because of a shortage.

Anyone know of a spot?

Strange. I thought CO2 levels were at an all time high? That’s what i keep hearing.

I’d try calling some home brew supply shops and see if they can give you a lead.

In all seriousness though, have you tried Matheson in Manchester? I only deal in bulk, but not sure about small volumes. If i were to think about an unethical life tip, I’d give a donation to a macdonalds, bk, or wendys employee and ask the what they can do to help you. Not recommending doing anything illegal, just thinking they may know other outlets we don’t.

Try Dicks sporting goods, they can refill tanks for paintball, maybe they’d fill a bigger tank?

Give Jasper's Homebrew a jingle (if you are good with swapping tanks.)

Northend Superette on the corner of Elm St and Fir St

Edit: I know you can get CO2 there, it is not a refill station, they just swap out pony bottles.

There used to be a hydroponic supply store on Second St in Manchester that did 20# tank swaps. That’s where I always went when I was brewing regularly. I haven’t fired up the kettle in a couple years unfortunately and I don’t know if the place is still open. 20 pounds lasted me a long time.
