The bottom line is MPD could have stepped in and assisted with the matter but it sounds like they opted not to. Hats off to you for doing diligence and notifying the actual owner. People make mistakes and itā€™s nice to hear that every now and again when they do, their property isnā€™t burnt to the grown because of it.

Having had experience with Elm Grove, good luck. They donā€™t give a flying fuck about you. That being said:

Your lease will also likely have a clause to have insurance. What Iā€™ve personally seen is they make you get insured and tell you to make it easier that they recommend ā€œXā€ and they will just add in every month to your rent. You should be obtaining insurance independently from the landlord, their employees or anyone associated with them.

This is just me an my opinion, I do and I love it. Full disclosure, I have 1 issue and I personally feel that it was weather related, understandable. During our last massive storm, I had connectivity issue (documented) issues for about 4 hours. I called customer support and to my surprise, they actually answered. šŸ˜³ We reset my ONT and the issues vanished. My 6 months or so with them has been infinitely better than a day with Comcast.

I see the point that youā€™re trying to make. However, if this was a local ā€œMarket Basketā€ your point would be valid. Itā€™s Whole Foods a subsidiary of Amazon. I promise you, if you took the Amazon logo and just a photo of the outline of Maine, more people will recognize Amazon. That is why it is such a big deal.
