All I can say is he must be the dumbest person in NJ. He's talking about wind turbines and how bad they are. He even said they will be leaking diesel fuel in the water when they are off shore. I think he reached a new low on the IQ scale.

Does anyone other than HARDCORE right wingers listen to that station anymore? I removed it from my presets like a year ago because they've gone so far off the deep end. I guess they're playing to their audience though...honestly who else besides old white conservatives actually listen to the radio anymore?

They are the only good thing left there. Dennis and Judy went Qish a few years ago. At first Judy would be the whackadoodle and Denis would play a Reaganesque conservative but it got so bad after a while I took the station off my presets. I don't even go there for Big Joe or the weather anymore.

101.5 is absolute garbage...except on the weekends. All the talking idiots go home and they play a great selection of mostly classic rock. It's amazing how good they could be if they just fired the alt right Nazis they have employed during the week.

So, around 2008 I got onto the Amazon MP3 craze. Now Amazon is making it hard to buy MP3's and is forcing their own poor streaming selections.

I'd rather listen to my purchased songs in a playlist. I do like some broadcasts, but it's not my goto.

Ironically, I feel the FIOS music stations do a better job than all other mediums in the case for variety.

Check out WFMU out of NJ. Not sure what frequency they broadcast on because I use their app, but they have four stream at pretty much any given time, and it's all freeform; no bullshit corporate radio.

I was a registered republican until 2009. I began listening to Siriusxm radio. David something and then Mark Levin would on while I drove 2 hours every weekend. The terms began bubbling there like Marxist which was used as a coded way for saying "I hate that our president is black". I should have left the party sooner when in the 2008 GOP primary l, they allowed birthers to be speak at the RNC convention. Then the tea party gang showed up, and they were obnoxious, but a minority.

Hot take, nearly all politicians are corrupt power hungry self serving windbags.

I began to cope in 2016 and hope that maybe some form of healthcare plan would actually be produced. It would have guaranteed multiple GOP terms of they had pulled it off. But they were proven to have zero policies and had no idea how to govern. I then looked back and tried to remember when the GOP was able to govern at a state level or national level where fear wasn't a main driving force. I'm no war hawk (like both GWB and Hillary) but the moment the prominent faces of the GOP turned on McCain and ridiculed his service...that was irredeemable for me. The tea party gang had grown and taken over the GOP. We now live in a world where Joe Biden is called a Marxist, which is insane for anyone using their memory. When objectively, he's more of a pre-Newt as speaker moderator republican from the early 1990s. It's a crazy time.

The democrat's largest issue over the last 20 years has been messaging.

I don’t want the windmills off shore either, but when Spadea and the republicans claim they’re against the windmills because of their love for the whales it’s a real eye roller.

WFMU is the answer. You may have to search, but there is a show for everyone on the app - which is definitely worth having. 91.1 on the airwaves, and wake & bake with clay pigeon every weekday from 6-9am is my personal favorite for a live morning show with music. I hope someone newly discovers this radio show and is as grateful as I was when I found it. Enjoy!

I’ll sometimes try to listen just to see what sort of ridiculous nonsense they’re talking about here and there, but I end up just getting pissed off. Dennis and Judy are just about as bad as Spadea, too. It’s just a constant stream of dogwhistles and misinformation. I constantly consider calling in and trolling the hell out of them but I know they’d immediately just cut me off after they realize I’m not one of their typical braindead boomer fuckwit daily listeners.

I remember listening to D&J back in the 90s, before I was really picking up on anything political, etc. I was just out of high school, working full time, and just enjoyed listening to talk radio. Especially if it was a topic I found interesting or relatable, or just amusing. There are times I miss being kind of oblivious to the bigger picture, but what can you do, right?

I stopped listening to that station 3 years ago because of Bill Spadea . He just pushes his right wing agendas, conspiracy theories, etc way to much. He doesn’t give callers with reasonable points any time and talks over them and hangs up on them only to make his right wing point be heard. I give that station 0 ratings today . I’m looking for news sources that don’t cast their agenda which is why I like NPR and BBC news

What about the time they were talking about the dog that was killed by it's owner and stuffed into a plastic garbage bag, they were making fun of the dog. What about Dennis leaving his blind dog outside one night and it froze to death? Top notch? They should have been fired years ago.

DX’ing was my guilty pleasure back in the day. Post streaming radio, I found it fascinating to hear stuff from 2-3 states away like it was right next to the transmitter. For me it was WOWO out of Illinois, I think some deal was cut for a local station (WLIB) to share airtime and transmission strength that gave it a boost

Sooo you think people should be fired because you don’t agree with things they say? You, my friend, are a moron. Whoever said I agree with everything they say and do? You’re what’s wrong with so many people today thinking everyone needs to agree with whatever you think, say, and do. They bring up good topics and are engaging and absolutely have good chemistry on air. It shows intellect to be able to listen to all points of view and make your own assessments about those things within a range.
