I recently discovered the Brooklyn slice and it is phenomenal.
Plain slice, but sometimes I go with a Margherita
plain thin crust a la Napoletano.
White slice, multi cheese including dollop of ricotta
Local pizzeria. Plain, thin, crispy, lot of black pepper.
Mushroom
Love a good vodka slice.
Italian sausage with fresh garlic is my absolute favorite. But only from select places.
I prefer sausage/peppers/onions but I'm finding many pizzerias don't even display slices with any kind of sausage ready to go, it's all BBQ chicken or bacon ranch or brushetta or penne ... those are good but sometimes I just want sausage
For me I like the crumbly sausage (that's why it's important to see it!). I'm not interested in the round stuff.

2 Pepperoni slices. I don’t do slices outside of Manhattan/Brooklyn though

A place by me used to make Chicken Alfredo and sometimes Tortalini Alfredo slices that made my knees weak.

A classic slice of cheese or pepperoni and a bottle of Coke for less than $5 at my local joint.

I like plain with crushed red pepper BUT in terms of "special" slices I've had unexpectedly good experiences with buffalo chicken

Anyone who says chicken bacon ranch or something without tomato sauce, please turn in your Jersey card and move south of the Mason Dixon line
