I woke up to hail pelting the roof, and tornado sirens going off, and this is how the day developed. That's enough excitement for one morning.

Steps outside, sips coffee, sees tiger in the yard, says "fuck it "and goes back to bed.

A young lion escaped from a small roadside zoo in rural Ontario in the 80's or 90's. Still a cub, but not tiny - about the size of a large dog.

A woman was out for a walk with her dog when it started barking and growling like crazy, and out bounds this lion from the woods. She ran home and called 911. Several times. They kept hanging up on her and warning her about making nuisance calls to emergency services. Eventually they got pissed off enough to send someone out there to set her straight.

They arrived to find it sitting on her dock, practicing his big boy roar.

He was safely retrieved by the zoo and the enclosure fortified.

I have been to this place! You can rent a van that looks like you are in a zombie apocalypse and feed tons of different animals. It's a blast! And it has to be bad for the environment, animals, everything.... but ya know...

Let's just say their fences were less good than jurassic Park. But I got to feed giraffes and buffalos from my hand so. Hooray

Imagine you’re running from your life from a tornado and just when you think you get to the safety of an overpass, there lurks a tiger… terrified, hungry and ready to eat your face.
