I’m looking for a flan pan. I would rather go get it and not order online. I don’t see it at target or Walmart. What other stores could I try?

Fante’s on 9th Street, or Kitchen Kapers near Rittenhouse

Fantes and Kitchen Kapers like everyone else said, but also General Kitchen in Chinatown by the convention center.

If they have them, I’d suggest ikea. Might be safer to check their online catalog first to make sure, but my go to for quality and affordable kitchen and home supplies is ikea, if they don’t have it I just forfeit to the online shit lol

Cousins might have them too. They have pots and stuff. Or compare and save.

We would buy our mothers gifts from there. 20 some years ago I purchased from them a ~16”cast iron frying pan for the holidays and my mother laughed so hard when she saw what we got her. My response was she asked for a larger frying pan… so I bought the largest they had. She still has it but I doubt she can lift it easily. It’s always a funny story when it comes up.

Just use a regular Pyrex glass pan from Target and when you do the Bain de Marie to cook it, you just put water in a bigger glass pan. This is how I have always made it. You don't need a special pan. No one I know that regularly makes flan owns one.

There are a couple of stores in Norristown that carry some Mexican equipment. They would be less expensive. Super gigante market would be where I start. Call them. If they don’t have it, they probably can tell you where to find it. Plus is the store is awesome for other products.
