Just use a regular Pyrex glass pan from Target and when you do the Bain de Marie to cook it, you just put water in a bigger glass pan. This is how I have always made it. You don't need a special pan. No one I know that regularly makes flan owns one.

Penn Dental hands down. They did my bone graft for an implant 20 years ago, and I'd go there now again if I needed to. I only see Penn dentists still. Lol.

This has been my experience with friends that have sent kids there. My concern is the pressure. I know too many kids on antidepressants/stimulants.

Public magnet schools. My kid went to SLA.

I'm surprised Meredith has any space left over. When I lived there, everyone was in catchment.

I had kids attend girls' private schools on the Mainline, public & magnet public schools in Philadelphia. Your kid will be fine either way.
If money is no object whatsoever, GFS is a great school.

This is very cool. Thank you! Honestly, most of new neighbors don't interact much, if at all, with the old time neighbors.

You'll have good luck here with a nurse practitioner - but call and ask first because they don't take all insurances.

I have family members that work at Starbucks, CVS and Target and their pay starts at $15/hr.
A yearly salary on $15/hr is about $31,200 - without benefits. That is not enough to allow people to live independently. It's not about pitting one profession against another. Everyone deserves a fair wage and fair working conditions.

I would question the veracity of her - or her attorney's statements.
As of a month ago, I was told by one employee that their pay was $15/hr plus tips.

It's all coming to light - finally.
She and her attorney need to remember that actions bounce back like a boomerang. One cannot bend the fabric of reality without consequences.

Reply to comment by 21chucks in In your opinion, which neighborhood is the worse to drive in? by RoverTheMonster
True story - I didn't get my license til later in life and I was afraid of driving on 76 and 95. I needed to drive to the Northeast on a daily basis, and I hired an instructor to help me drive from Center City to Philmont Ave. After the first time on the Boulevard (because I wanted to avoid 95), I decided I'd rather brave the highway. LOL.
The middle lane situation on the Boulevard requires a separate driving course.

Welcome! We were in Florida for work temporarily. Wages are low. Housing is insane. My advice is, if you can, buy here (even if its a small place) while prices are still affordable.

That I agree with you 100 percent. Minimum wage and high quality education and free extracurricular activities for all youth. That being said, anyone reckless enough to bomb an ATM in a residential neighborhood or randomly shoot or harm innocent people needs to suffer consequences. It is not ok to hurt people.

>Prisons and hard line policing are not the solution to crime. If they were USA would be safest country in the world
It is EASY to say this when you haven't been the victim of a heinous unprovoked crime. I have been assaulted in the El. My neighbors have been burglarized. My neighborhood's ATM is bombed repeatedly. Try raising children in that environment. I say throw all the VIOLENT low life criminals in jail - and ban guns permanently - (this will never happen).

Gym favors a wealth tax which is the stupidest policy ever. It'll incentivize professionals and business owners to move to the burbs.
