I genuinely like it.

-the Ironbound off of Ferry St. never really screamed architectural dreamland, so maybe this looks better than it should? I still like it either way.

When I posted this earlier it got straight buried lol. Glad it's back on the forefront.

I will always prefer taller, but I do have to say I like this design. There's just a handful of blocks downtown that if they were redeveloped it'd be almost a night/day difference.

It sucks about the increase in rent scroll but glad you're staying put!

I don't understand how it's considered 'cramming residents'. Quality of life was unbearable b/c of overcrowding? Yeah, no. I remember 80's and 90's Newark, overcrowding was way down on the list versus just rampant crime in general.

Unfortunately the area, while better than the 90's, won't improve if things aren't built. The city can embrace its density and it doesn't have to be a bad thing. The 90's are over. One parking space for every unit means the zoning needs a lot more work.

I keep reading that 'everyone knows it as a NY airport'. But every family member and friend living in Manhattan, Queens, Bx, SI never ever consider it as such (and, of course, they go at lengths to remind just how 'in Jersey' it really is).

I know it's shared airspace, it's just annoying when the language gets pushed as if NY somehow owns the damn thing. Maybe easy for me to say since I'm on this side, but there's a lot of crying about consequences we haven't even realized yet (if they ever occur).
