If you do anything excessively it can lead to issues. I once pushed myself way too hard doing dumbbell presses and I tore my rotator cuff. I was in pain for weeks until it healed. However the probability of injuring yourself by doing this exercise 3 times a day (10 reps each for a total of 30 per day) is minuscule as this exercise is uniformly endorsed across the board as a health benefit.

The latter is having to constantly go to the restroom. An example for me was my college roommate and I were the exact opposite in this regard. While I had to get up 3 times a night to use the restroom (more if I was eating clean and drinking a lot of water). He could sleep through the entire night and then release gallons when he went to the restroom. We used to call him The Camel because of this.
