It’s still just correlation. Showing causation requires a far more precise study than just looking at where they live and whether they developed hypertension or not.

Clearly. And constant noise is not a problem. It’s inconsistent noise that is the big problem and what people notice. The article provides only correlation and no causation. It’s just as likely if not more that the exhaust and other air pollution from the cars is the problem.

Nah. That’s a dull “hum” that is basically constant. Since it is constant it’s quite easy to tune out and forget it’s there. It’s the engines that break through and become distinct.

They had no fucking choice. Tesla forced everybody lower with those price cuts. It looks like they finally decided they didn’t need to maintain industry leading margin rates forever.

This is the whole problem with “reforms”. They’re not reforms so much as they’re just cuts. Reform can make sense if done fairly. Cuts are abhorrent and should be blocked if at all possible.

Anywhere you can park a car you can install a charger. It doesn’t require massive space like a gas pump does. There is the cost to set it up but the space is not the premium need.

Or. You could consider that this is only for new vehicles and that the millions upon millions of existing gas cars already on the market aren’t going to just disappear in any short period of time. It’ll take decades before they won’t be able to just find and buy a fully functional gas powered car.
