Sounds like money could be best spent fighting the landlord

I'd love to know too!

Because the people who own the parking lots don’t want to turn them into buildings. They want to keep them as profitable parking lots which is the lowest tax thing they can do with the property.

Amazing how the broker figured out to use “cute” as a code word to avoid violating fair housing law.

There are about 30 total….so just monitor realtor.com religiously….and be prepared to over pay the moment one hits the market. It may take you a few years.

A pretty balanced article. It is a difficult subject. And the author does a pretty fair analysis.I just wish that Ms del tufo would not burnish her amazing legacy by continuing to fight about Harriet Tubman Square.

What neighborhood are you in? If your neighbors are a big issue call 311 AND report it on the city app. One or two summons will get a lot of response from the property owner. The thing is the city doesn’t PROACTIVELY go around looking for filthy front yards. But immediate neighbor complaints go a long way.

It’s been a while now. About a year. All the occupants of that building were kicked out for this project (that’s why just fish moved to halsey street)

1 unit in this building costs around $350k. Certainly this one is unique....but 8 times better than a standard unit becaue of the levels and the deck?

I highly doubt it will look like that when they get to the actual application.....this picture is just from a magazine about the future project. As far as I know, the actual application hasn't been submitted yet.

I agree with the ghost It’s been a facade barely standing up for several decades. All of the previous proposals have imagined keeping the façade and something new In the back.

I watched the whole video. I want to amend my comments. The landlord said the the tenant also stopped paying rent even after the roof repair was done.
