4-6 days for snow this year, 1-3 sick days for children and then try to plan other contingencies. Yes it makes it tough.

How about multiple employers that only give two weeks off.

I understand the ice, but what about the slush snow/ice mixture can’t be removed….
I get the ice debate but I don’t think it’s been applicable here.
And yes two years ago when it was freezing rain and it was sheets of ice. But it was frozen when it landed. So shoving my driveway was far easier this go around.

Why is that the case? Did you ever work for the company and observe morale, ethical or financial violations?

It’s not about being able to drive. It’s the fact our major roads look like the Oregon Trail pathway while highway and major county roads are cleaned and clear.

There are three plows in the area…., MODOT, Greene County Highway Department and SGF Public Works. Each have their respective areas of coverage.
First I am thankful of our public works drivers and their work. However their leadership at public works is failing the city drivers.
Whomever is running the program with the city needs to take a lesson from MODot.
Also I understand side streets are not a priority but our major streets could be in far better shape.

I don’t know your budget or where you are coming from but I’d avoid; Arbor Suites near the mall Studio Rentals and Fairvue Studios on Norton Rd.

Agreed.
Last I recalled too was Missouri was moving towards that plan. However the government/state has a terrible implementation track record.

I am very confused here. Drivers get cited and keep expired temp tag on car until they are stopped again and ticketed until the court date.
Because even with an expired temp tag, cars can still be [more] identifiable [then without].
Would you prefer the SPD to tow those cars for each expired temp tags each time? Then everyone would be screaming abuse of power…
Genuinely curious of your solution. TIA.
