Reply to Boca Raton Woman Asks City Board to Create ‘Sugar Daddy and Mommy Appreciation Day’ by ohnoshebettadont18
This has got to be the best thing I've seen in months. Lady goes to a planning and zoning board, They let her go on her crazy rant then reply: "Thank you, that's a city council matter. She then doubles down on why she feels this is an important issue.

My Birkenstocks have seriously been life changing for me. The other great thing is that just about any cobbler can fix/ re-sole them for you too! They are worth every penny.

I wouldn't trade my Bob Kramer Zwilling knives for anything short of a knife made by Bob himself.

It takes 7 people to convince 1 person that something is good, but it only takes one person to convince 7 people that something is bad.

Solid wood furniture is crazy expensive, and for good reason. Like others have said, buy them secondhand or at an estate sale

Reply to comment by reddeadp0ol32 in BIFL suggestions for cookware? I already have a cast iron skillet. by TrialByFireAnts
So I got a set of the copper core all clad as a wedding gift, but it didn’t come with a 4qt pot. This pot alone is 400 but the Kirkland set was 179, and came with a 4qt pot. So now I have a lot of extra pans. The Kirkland ones are nice, and I would say a bifl product. I just primarily prefer my all clad because they just feel better in my hands

I prefer the Kirkland 5 ply copper core pans for my cheap pans.

There is a Children's Book about this called Be a Perfect Person in Just Three Days! Being perfect is pretty boring. You just have to sit in an empty theater, drinking weak tea, and wearing broccoli around your neck.

Reply to any great magnetic shower heads? by Joloven
For sure you want Moen Magnetix, I have the more expensive one with the rain head and the separate wand. My parents have the one that is just a big wand. If given the option again, I would go with the one my parent have, but mine is still really nice

Reply to BIFL Dutch oven: Le Creuset vs Lodge by DesignerAccount
I have both, but find I’m using the Le Creuset more because it cooks better. I also find the Le Creuset has better handles that are much easier to grip it with when hot. If you offered me double what I paid for my Le Creuset, I would still decline. I love this so much I may not pass it down to my kids, but rather be buried with it.

I have the copper core line and I love them! They are not non stick though so I need to use a lot of butter for the eggs to not stick

I have two pair of shoes right now, a pair of Brooks and a pair of Nike Vapormax Plus. The brooks are really nice and what I use mostly, but my Nike's are unreal. It's like walking on a cloud. Highly recommend the Nike's if you can afford them.
