You might want to consider starting an Ego tool collection. Their chainsaw is pretty solid if you're not doing anything too heavy duty, and the fact all of the equipment shares the same batteries makes it attractive.

Email just went out saying new season tickets are now available for next season.

Upper corner seats are available at $300/season. If you don't want to pay a lot for Friars games, that's your best option.

If you choose not to pick them up, don't complain next year when ranked games are out of your price range.

Terrible seats?

There is no such thing as terrible seats at the AMP.

I have seats in the upper corner. My first year they were $170, now a new seat is $300 for the year.

So tell me. Knowing that my seats cost a grand a year, and half those games are against the Merrimacks and Sacred Hearts of the world, what should I be charging?

Based on what you're describing Misquamicut and Newport would fit your bill nicely.

That being said, you're behind the 8 ball if you're looking to get a place for July. I would be not m my decision first and foremost on what you can find that's stilll available to rent.

Tufts in Walpole was great for us in our time of need.

I found the care at Ocean State to be incredibly deficient. They dismissed my 6 month CKCS's symptoms as kennel cough. A couple weeks later symptoms persisted and we took the pup to Tufts. Turned out to be a serious auto immune issue that took her from us.

Who knows, maybe an extra month would have made the difference. Either way I will never go to Ocean State again.

Rhetoric isn't a strong suit for you.

You compared it to Dave and Busters, because I'm the mind of yourself and nobody else D&Bs is a haven for drunk driving. And let's not forget your boss, who represents the entire golfing community and gets drunk on Tuesdays. That hardly constitutes the justification you think it does lol.

It doesn't matter what you or I like since Top Golf is going in. While you're lamenting the loss of Costco I will be taking my customers to TopGolf, where they will be drinking less than they would at a sporting event or bar.

Yes, the majority of the patrons will be men. And I'm not arguing that point.

I'm arguing your inference that the demographic listed above is a problem. And that the nature of TopGolf will lead to more drinking than your typical restaurant or bar.

I challenge sexism and bigotry in all forms. I'm not twisting anything you've said. You have said introducing TopGolf into the area will increase DUIs because their demographic is middle aged white men.

  1. Have you ever been to a TopGolf or Golf Simulator like at Patriot Place or TD Garden in Boston?

The fact that it's like a Dave and Busters implies people will drink less, not more. People drink less when they're participating in an activity than they do when they're standing there just drinking. Its common sense.

Why does this even need to be explained?

  1. The crux of your argument seems to be that TopGolf will attract men and men just want to drink. If your boss and his friends get shitfaced at the country club, obviously all men do, right?

Are you familiar with the term misandry? Come on, be better. Sexism in all forms sucks.

I lived in Seattle for a few years, so yes I've lived near a Costco. Hell, they were a customer of mine. I'm fully aware of how busy they get.

The thing about TopGolf is that there are NO TopGolfs currently in the region. The closest one is in Long Island. A TopGolf in RI will draw businesses looking to entertain clientele from Boston and Connecticut as well as our own backyard.

I'd love a Costco, but given the choice would take TopGolf all day long. TopGolf will be a legitimate draw.

They haven't been? I thought they were still doing national tours at large venues. I guess I didn't see them at the Comcast Center in Mansfield? Any idea who I did see?

There were a lot of people there to see an irrelevant band.

This might shock you, but there is still a lot of demand to see 90s rock.

Next you're going to try to tell me Pearl Jam is irrelevant lol.
