My 17 year old nephew takes every opportunity to dunk on John Hunter for some reason. It only got worse after my dad told him about his dad, good ol' Front Row Joe.

Trying to work on a few projects that several attorneys have sent me this morning. But the stripey furry coworker (who started wailing at 630am for breakfast) has other ideas - she's parked herself directly in front of my laptop and is refusing to move. Mondays.

Impostor Syndrome had me strangled this morning. I was asked to find a judicial Order from 1954, and working from home, I couldn't find it in any of the legal databases. I went on a hunt when I got to the office this morning and was successful!

Now to settle in and wait for the next thing that will make me immediately think (baselessly) "well thats it, they're going to fire me for sure."

Okay, so I'll be bringing in the strawberry plants for a bit then!

It was Next Level Chef but we tapped out midway. Full of food + being old = needed a snooze 🤣

We tried a new place tonight, El Paso (west end near Grapevine). New to us, the friends that we went with had been there before. We really liked it - food was great, service was quick and super nice, and they make their own tortillas. I could have eaten all 6 myself!

Mexican food and mindless reality TV to kick off a three day weekend. Much deserved!

I have a picture of one of my friends "kissing" the statue's junk. I told him that if he ever goes missing / commits a crime / is otherwise on the news, that's the picture I'm giving the media 😂

Broad really ought to have streetlights into the county. Especially Broad through Willow Lawn and most of Staples Mill. Pedestrians get hit there constantly.
