Food poisoning can have other effects as well, I was painfully violently vomiting, causing one section of my small intestine to wrap tightly around another section, choking off my digestive system, and it hurt like hell, the DR cut me open, fished around in my slippery intestines, then:. I found it! He said. He put everything back in place, told me I'll have some pain but I'm allready out of the woods, my assistant will sew your abdomen back up: and I'm off to have dinner with my wife at our favorite place. I'll check on you tomorrow morning.

A favorite meal of many of the miners, was the Cornish pasty, as many of the miners immigrated to the u.s, were Cornish, similar to a piecrust, filled with sliced or ground meat, veggies and potatoes, they wrapped thier pasties in cloths to keep their food warm, until lunch time. N. Michigan still has numerous locations that specialize in baking pasties.if you get a chance, try one, they are some real good eating.

My parents would send us out to play after dinner, with a "be home by 7" type of warning, for every minute we were late, 2 minutes were deducted from our play time for the rest of the summer, if you were late 30 minutes, deduct one hour from play time the rest of the summer) We were not allowed to have a watch. (parents were German, and drunk, you will have no fun! Achtung!)

I finally quit hiking in my very rural isolated thick woods in Northern Wisconsin for two reasons, wolves live there, number one and on several occasions, I caught glimpses of quite large, what looked to be a gorilla like creature, following me, or while keeping it's distance and walking a 100 feet or so away from my side, in the thick dense woods, there were no cars around and the next nearest home was over two miles away, (the next nearest home after that was 5 or 6 miles away) they were elderly people who would hardly be capable of stalking me while hiking in a thick woods area.

I heard my dog barking like insane mad, I ran out my back door and my face was a foot away from a black bear's face: I slammed my door on the black bear, went around the corner in my kitchen, looked out the window as the black bear ran fast as a black bear can run, into the woods: a polar bear would have made me, his lunch.
