I used this a few times when I was in college. I used it again the other day because I had forgotten it was still on my phone. Not very impressed anymore. A lot of places were sold out and the place I got food from went from 5 slices of pizza when I used to use it to 3 now. Maybe I'm just being overly picky but I probably won't use it again.

Seriously. I'm so sick of these and mopeds. These are the two groups of people that make cyclists look like assholes. A device that allows you to go 30 MPH with no effort is not a bicycle. It's a motor vehicle and ought to be treated as such. Most people can't even sustain 20 MPH for an extended period on a bike, yet e-bikes bring the bar for idiots down significantly.

It's not victim blaming to use common sense. Apparently the expectation to have a bit of common sense has disappeared though. How extreme does something need to be before it isn't "victim blaming" on your arbitrary scale? Is telling someone to not leave valuables in the back of their car in Downtown SF victim blaming too when their car inevitably gets broken into? What about being white and walking through Mogadishu unaccompanied? Is that extreme enough for your scale? At what point does common sense take precedence over "victim blaming?"

Sorry, but given that I witnessed two separate people too lazy to hold onto their trash until they got off of the subway today, I don't have any faith in NY's ability to do that. If they want to promote battery recycling, it needs to be far more convenient than a 30 minute minimum roundtrip.

Probably recovery. Easier for them to fly again when stuff is available then managing being down with crew in the wrong location for that long. Crew can't work again for 48 hours I believe on TPAC/TATL flights. For a small airline like ANZ that could be devastating as I doubt they have many reserve crews especially crews certed to fly a 787...

I wonder why the state might possibly provide more resources to NYC than other areas. It couldn't possibly have to do with it shouldering a huge majority of the state's tax burden and being the home of the bulk of its population? Shockingly, it turns out it's not particularly cost efficient to live in suburbs or rural areas...
