Not in Bergen County, but close enough, I'd recommend the Ice Vault in Wayne. Very nice building, and according to their website, they have public skating from 7:30-9:30 tonight. $15 plus $5 skate rental if you don't already have skates.

Welcome! I wouldn't recommend living in Newark, but there are a lot of nice towns in the surrounding area. Some are more desirable than others based on your age and whether or not you have kids, but regardless of what you're looking for, there are options. And New Jersey has some of the strictest gun laws in America, so no need to worry.

The alternative (increased public transportation) is socialist and inherently evil according to America.

I don't drive on the Turnpike very often, but I get anxiety when I'm behind trucks. That's also why I stay in the left lane most of the time.

I hate seeing things like this. Bigotry truly shows the dumbest that humanity has to offer. These people do not represent the people or values of New Jersey. This is a state that is proud of its diversity.

Definitely safe. There's a lot of stuff in the area for sure. I can't speak on the quality of their schools though.

The Central Jersey borders need to move north. Middlesex County is in no way North Jersey, and Burlington is in no way Central.

I guess I meant more the politicians. They can't get elected as Republicans anymore without being full MAGA (which inevitably means they'll just switch parties and the Democratic establishment will welcome them with open arms), but even those voters I think are starting to see the writing on the wall.
