And if you're not sure what kind of water you have, they sell test strips for very little money. You'll end up with way more than you'll ever need, but they actually make good gifts (I'm not kidding)

They're really not that rare, at least in America. Both online and in stores, there are tons of options.

And what a lot of coffee snobs don't get is that, a lot of people like their specific coffee, even if it is poorly brewed. Nostalgia, comfort, and repeated "exposure" can make even awful drinks taste amazing.
I say this as someone who has spent way too much time and money on coffee. I just have a soft-spot for gas station coffee. I don't mean the stiff sheetz has with tons of options and stored in containers that won't burn it. It's the ones that use like 3 home coffee makers and all of them are solid brown on the bottom from burnt coffee. I'd go for that over my pour over every day of the week.

Well-built modern coffee makers don't give off that much steam. There's still some where the coffee drips into the carafe. I don't think there's any way to prevent leakage there, but I bet there's a way to funnel the steam so it doesn't get trapped under the cabinet

Modern cars are designed to take as much of the impact as possible which means they look REALLY messed up even at slower speeds. It also is a lot easier than you'd expect for a car to flip in an accident. Add in even a little fire and a relatively slow speed can look horrible.

It unfortunately happens a lot. Probably every high-school has a group of teenagers who die in a tragic car accident where they were driving dangerously. A lot of the time, there's not even drugs or alcohol involved.
And as tragic as that is, what almost always happens next, takes one of the worst situations imaginable and somehow makes it worse when the parents of the passengers all start suing the parents of the driver and a lot of people around it are forced to pick a side.

And even if he wasn't, it's not a guarantee that he'd be charged as an adult in this case. Depending on the specifics, I could see it going either way, and I could see myself being good with either trying him as an adult or juvenile (if he was alive).

Yes incompetence is a huge issue, but there have also been a lot of stories recently about the problems with la cop gangs. An intential leak to intimidate people into not talking is a very real possibility.

Oh, they understood, there's just a lot of people on reddit who don't actually care about police brutality and all the other issues surrounding police.

No, but he is suffering from a lot of health issues that make amy public comment unreliable. I'll take tons of downvotes, but the only response someone who knows him can make without lying, is he got something right by accident"

I love the artemis program, but this doesn't sit well with me. The guy is 93 and dealing with a lot. It feels weird to have him do any stuff like this.

If you search for cases where cheating lead to violence, you're going to find a lot, but what you won't find is the vast majority that aren't newsworthy because no one goes crazy.

There is a big step between this:
> I mean arguably it is normal by virtue of being common that people become irrational and unconsolably emotional
And this:
> and yes even violent
Most people don't become violent even when they become irrationally angry. People that do, need some form of anger management. Violence in response to cheating is not common or normal, even though irrational anger is common and normal.

Why would they get hate for saying infidelity could be the cause of violence? While rational and well adjusted people won't resort to violence, I don't think anyone would argue that it's not a very emotionally charged situation with a lot of anger.
Hell, I got into an argument once on reddit with someone who said it's normal and common for people to get violent after being cheated on.

And this very case could be an example of that. He shot her while she was in her moving car, which seems more spontaneous than planned. Once he realizes how fucked he is, he panics and it becomes a standoff.

It's a horrible crime, but I really don't like that the death penalty is an option for kidnapping or sexual assault, whether it's a hate crime or not.

I'd think it'd be the opposite. At that amount I'd be expecting someone who is working of their own free will. Kind of like how you pay more for products made in countries with fair labor laws instead of those that use slave labor.

It's part luck and part checking intersections before entering them to see if a car is going to stop or not. Getting hit by a car running a stop sign or red light isn't your fault, but it is usually avoidable.

You know, I've only ever seen ovens underneath the stove top. I've seen small ones in the middle of what used to be floor to ceiling cabinets, but never anything like this. I never even considered that it was even an option, lol. That's really cool!
