Canine Humane Network is excellent. They put their dogs up on Pet Finder. They’re all rescues, and they don’t go on Pet Finder until they spend enough time in their foster home to rehabilitate and learn to be a dog again. They’re excellent people who do a lot for dogs.

This happened to me renting an apartment in Ellicott City 10 years ago. Sadly, I couldn’t get it resolved and paid $1,400 for carpet replacement. I had a 2 bedroom and every room, except for kitchen and bathrooms, was carpeted.

I prevented this from happening by scheduling a walkout with the leasing office. I refused to turn in the keys unless I gave it to the leasing manager after the walkout. All paperwork is signed at the meeting.

Another apartment complex tried to pull the same thing on me, but I referenced the paperwork the manager signed during the walkout and they backed off.

I hate to scare you, but people I know don’t mess with the HOA. I’m told not to get on their bad side or else they’ll look for things to fine you about. There’s just no way to get a fence that tall.

Yeah it’s super hard to get anything but split rail fences. Columbia Association wants to make sure that Columbia has big open spaces for people and animals to roam around. That’s why it’s super difficult to get approved for anything else.

I had to Google it to get clarity. Interstates are part of the National Highway System and Highway 13 is not part of that network.

I don’t have experience with Heritage service, but I can at least say their VW and Subaru sales team is excellent. They didn’t charge a markup on a Ascent and even worked on the numbers with my family.

I feel your pain. Baltimore isn’t that far away to your salty coworkers who live in DC/NOVA. But to a friend or family member, Baltimore is too far of a drive or too dangerous to travel to.

This Tik Tok lives in my head rent free. I can’t believe I didn’t recognize the Walgreens I used to visit twice a week for 5 years. To those who say it’s an awesome Walgreens, they’re right!

No problem! I should add that Annapolis is on the Chesapeake bay so it’s out of the way from most places you go to. 97 only goes from Annapolis to Baltimore. It’s easy for it to get bottlenecked.

That’s without traffic. Annapolis only has 2 highways but only one (I-97) is accessible from Columbia. The other highway is only accessible from PG County/NOVA. That means 97 is the only highway for the entire Baltimore Metro region. Traffic will vary but it can get real ugly. It’s the only highway for people and it’s only 2 lanes. Trips can be as fast as 35 minutes but it usually takes an hour in rush hour traffic. More if there’s an accident.

A lot of these places are overcrowded and some are from Baltimore. If you want a small business with good pastries and food, go to Bonheur Patisserie.
