He's just one of my favorite actors. He also happens to be the actor who uttered my favorite line of dialog in all of cinema:
>I do not, for one, think that the problem was that the band was down. I think that the problem may have been, that there was a Stonehenge monument on the stage that was in danger of being crushed by a dwarf. Alright? That tended to understate the hugeness of the object.

Basically for me, ibuprofen for injuries and joint or muscle aches, acetominophen for headaches, fevers & body aches.

I mean eggs are just chains of protein and some fat. We've had egg substitutes for baking for years. If there's any animal product which should be able to be widely replaced with a synthetic substitute, its eggs.

Yeah. 17, and then I-40 until the elevation dropped enough that it hadn't snowed. A couple of hours of white knuckle driving.

The biggest snowstorm I've ever driven through was driving back from Sedona via Flagstaff. Hairy drive.

I think people in general have a pretty good understanding that the benefits of EV cars depend on the source of their power generation, and that the promise of EVs depends on pushing for more generation by renewables. Also the flip side, that regardless of what happens with primary power generation, none of it matters unless we are all or mostly driving EVs.

A really not fun fact: the original meaning of the term 'faggot' was 'sticks to be burned', which also explains the British slang for cigarette 'fag'. So this joke, such as it is, kinda glibly ignores, or maybe even leans into, a whole history of brutal homophobia in which gay people often paid with their lives. So sorry to get all schoolmarm on you, but this joke kinda sucks.

Bexause international viewership does not correlate to income for US Soccer as international broadcast rights are held and sold by other entities, whereas domestic viewership does. Low viewership of the Women's World Cup in Ecuador does not materially impact revenue for US Soccer.

Worldwide viewership would not determine the pay rate for either national team, as it's not the metric of interest to US Soccer.

The USWNT routinely outdraws (by a small margin) the USMNT.
