South Philly Tap Room has one of the best grilled cheeses in the city. It's a bar but not like aggressively so. I've seen kids there before

I think your friends are just bad dog owners. There's an extensive community in Reddit for reactive and fearful and even mean dogs.

Speaking as someone who owned a reactive dog- you don't take them to places like this. It's very stressful for "literal nightmares." Hopefully you notice that your friends with less than well behaved dogs don't take them to dog parks or areas where humans and dogs mix like this.

It's is kind of a common practice for women at least. It's why you wait on the driver's side of the road, walk around the back and get in passenger side. One of those women safety tips that men don't think of.

Yep haven't even seen any evidence of mice in like 3 years

First year I lived in south Philly the mice came in around this time of year. Got a cat a month later, haven't seen one since.
