My sister goes through extreme mourning every time a pet dies. Like twice as bad as I am going through a break-up. I don't even want to think about entering another relationship so I never understand why she keeps getting more pets and going through this heartache every few years.

Right? What a mean-spirited, damaging thing to say to a person.

Haha, yeah. A coworker made that old man with sweatpants at the strip club joke and I enjoyed it so I stole it.

Not too sure. Lives on the outskirts of Eugene, Oregon so I’m guessing from a local farm?

Oh, I thought all nude places couldn’t do drinks? I think my strip club days are behind me now anyways. In my twenties, I got the sense that the women didn’t hate approaching me and talking to me because I was young, fun, and decent looking. Now I feel like the old pervert in sweat pants learing at girls too young for me and prefer women my own age.

I get what you’re saying, but at least my sister loves those birds and treats them like pets.

Yeah, it’s a terrible thing that we do to those animals. It’s so nice when I visit my sister because I can eat her hen’s fresh eggs guilt free!

It’s a lie. The entry fee for this place is expensive af. But it’s the only strip club in Vegas where you’re going to see all nude eighteen year olds, so they have the market cornered.

I got 86’d from that place in my twenties for accepting a handjob and the dancer was also very mad at me for ejaculating. I thought she had a plan for that. She’s the professional.

I don’t think VR is going to disappear this time. There’s an ever growing base of enthusiasts out there and Quest 2 crushed the sales of the first Quest. I’m guessing the new PlayStation headset will do quite well too since that appear to have some good games planned. Hell, porn alone should keep VR around in some capacity.

And a lot of people aren't aware of the amazing technology Meta and other companies are prototyping right now. What happens when photorealistic avatars combine with eye tracking, accurate facial expressions, and environmental scanning that all make social teleportation possible? Feeling like you can hang out with friends and family that are thousands of miles away like they are right next to you in your living room will be universally appealing. How about when AI can create amazing worlds to explore?
I've always believed in the future of VR/AR and the Metaverse but I think it's going to be awhile and I really hope it isn't controlled by a single company but is open like the internet.

I think a very compelling metaverse will eventually be a reality but it clearly isn’t going to happen with this Wii Sports looking shit Meta is currently demonstrating.

Once the technology gets to the point that it objectively outperforms the vast majority of human drivers, I’ll trust the AI over humans who can be under the influence, sleep deprived, emotional, distracted, etc… but we’re clearly not at that point yet.
