The only store that might sell in RI is the Metcalf store on the RISD campus but I am unsure if they are open to the public, if they have clay in store or if the ceramic department handles that for their students directly. You could give them a call.

I will also say that I put in an order w Sheffield last week and it came fairly quickly. I’ve ordered in the past from The Ceramic Shop and it took a bit of time to receive that package.

I laughed a little at this comment only bc I was at the city hall hearings when the Fane Co were arguing for the permits for the build/build height. So many people representing the historical society and various neighborhood orgs would start their statements with “I’ve got nothing against tall buildings …. “ “I love tall buildings, but … “

It seemed a bit tricky to testify against the group of construction workers who wanted jobs and definitely needed jobs(tho wanting a short term job building something for the sake of its tallness). But yah, this building makes no sense in Providence and there has to be better solutions to work stability for the construction sector than ego building.

I go to Lindsay Thibeault at RISPCA’s animal clinic. I’ve been with her forever and have followed her from when she was on Gano St to when she ran a mobile vet service. She’s very kind, enthusiastic and makes working with her clients her first priority. She’s always been mindful of finances/cost, and great in receiving and answering questions.

Seriously … this is a much larger issue than people who hate bike lanes and want to use that as some sort of abstract issue that takes away from taking care of the unhoused in the state.
