You think VT was affordable in 2019? Or exponentially more so than now?

Good for you, I wussed out on my review - and I feel bad about not being honest and giving them the benefit of the doubt. If we didn't have AWD and good snow tires we would have gotten stuck in there driveway.

The last air b n b we rented during a snow storm we literally had to shovel their fucking driveway. Edit: I should say it was an apartment attached to their house where they lived.

Yo totally agree with you about targeting other emissions from consumer goods (HUGE contributor to emissions), plains, trains, etc. BUT you're wrong about the EV thing - this has been proven time and time again, they are much cleaner from cradle to grave than something like a ram 3500, literally no contest. You're talking an enormous lifetime of tailpipe emissions, combined with all fossil fuels required for manufacturing, combined with the process of getting and refining crude oil, combined with shipping all of that.

It's also really bad for lake Champlain and the surrounding watershed. Warmer temps and less rain contribute greatly to algae blooms. Combined with phosphorus runoff. Sad because the lake is one of our greatest natural areas.

I'm with ya - and the fact that this comment got downvoted just shows that people dont understand how huge a problem plastic waste really is, and how much more retailers can and should be doing about it.

Do they have a great bulk food section? Are they better at reducing plastic waste than any other grocery chain? If not then no.

Yeah I mean I'll give you that, I've lived here my whole life, and the real estate market has always been somewhat of a bubble. Maybe you saw the article that was posted in this sub last week, explaining that most of our housing shortage issues are the result of people owning second homes, or that is at least the highest percentage of vacant homes and apartments.
