Don’t forget to take the ball out to clean the interior rollers.

Just about any cowboy boots would do, although I would suggest a pair that have a rubber Vibram like sole for your intended use.
Cowboy boots are designed to handle things like snakes. Source

No sole is BIFL, but there are plenty of BIFL shoes/boots. Look for Goodyear Welted and high quality leather uppers for BIFL shoes. My go to brand is Grant Stone

As someone who works in finance, I couldn’t agree with you more on this. This is way beyond stupid and causes confusion. I was looking at a way to interpret this as the age of forests.

Lol. Ironically, we actually have two puppies, thus defeating my own debate.

I seriously doubt that the writer of the song intended for repeat gifts, even though he/ she uses the word “and”. What other word would work as well and still keep the song “intact”?
If I gave my wife a puppy on day 1 and a ring on day 2. Well, I’m not also giving her a another puppy on day 2. Why would anyone think that, regardless of how I write it down?

Purchased similar one at a thrift store because I know you can’t break them. Well… maybe that’s a stretch, but really… solid.

I’ve got 2 pairs of cowboy boots that I have had resoled several times and owned over 25 years. There’s zero reasons why they won’t outlive me. I consider them BIFL because I will die before the shoes will. I’m just looking for something more modern than a cowboy boot.

These are fantastic recommendations. Grant Stones are great looking shoes.
I saw these - they are just $180 more than those Thursday’s, so I figured I would try them out first.

Looked at the Blundstone site and didn’t care for the style I found. If I am not impressed by these, I’m thinking about paying an extra $100 for shoes I found from Portland Leather or Red Wing. Red Wings just didn’t look as comfortable, but I 100% know quality is there.

I have a lifetime supply of a good leather conditioner and cleaner. Long story, but I had a care agreement with a leather dealer where I got plenty of leather care products… more than I know what to do with.

Good to know. Never thought about this being a problem. The only other shoes I have that are Goodyear Welted are Cowboy Boots and they seem fine without trees.

Have you had yours re-soled? If so, couldn’t you specify a more traction sole to your cobbler?

Why not one of 1000 other brands? I liked the style of these and hope quality and service matches their advertised hype

Says Goodyear Stitched — what is telling you Blake? I specifically shopped Goodyear shoes only.

Agreed. My Razer mouse has been working fine for many MANY years. Enough to see where my finger has tapped the button deep into the plastic and it will likely last another decade +.
I use the fucker for 50/ hrs week.
