No but you’re arguing that psychedelics should be illegal because they’re potentially not good for you (which is not really true anyway).

Just because you aren’t explicitly saying other things are good for you, doesn’t mean you’re not being totally inconsistent in your reasoning for why psychedelics should be illegal. Unless of course you think that everything that could have a potential harm should be illegal.

Prices are just about what I expected starting out. $40, $55, and $60 1/8s. Pretty much the same price point I’ve seen in states with rec markets just starting. Looked to me like they gave licenses to people that met the criteria they explained beforehand, what makes you say they didn’t? There are many more licenses already issued, just still in the process of opening. Like the article says, Housing Works was just first to get all their shit straight

More and more I’m starting to cut third party apps out of ordering food for myself. They’re just parasites at this point. I try to stick to places that employ their own delivery drivers if I can, but usually just do pick up these days if I’m ordering out. I’ve been jerked around one too many times because of fucked up orders through third party apps to want to deal with them anymore

Hah yeah it’s like 75% of why I live here. There’s literally nothing that makes me more pissed off than wasting time sitting in traffic. I grew up in Baton Rouge which is a nightmare of unplanned suburban sprawl and never ending traffic congestion. And driving your own person vehicle is literally, like you explained in Tampa, the only viable option. It filled me with spite for the inability of the city to think further than it’s nose in terms of any civic or social policy.

It’s funny, my friends and family back home think we’re crazy when we want to walk everywhere that we can, while the hassle of driving/traffic/parking seems like a ton of effort to me now

Yeah pretty weird. Can’t say personally if I think it’s good or bad, but from what I’ve heard from some small business owners, there’s not much “negotiating” rent when it comes time to re-sign a lease. If it stops landlords for pulling the ole “oh what a nice successful building you have, looks like you can afford 60% higher rent. And I don’t care if not because MedMen will!”, then maybe it’ll be a good thing

Not sure which rollout has been more frustrating to witness, NY or MA. I’ve lived in a legal state for like 5 years without a dispensary open…
