Like pretty much everyone else here, I've encountered this regularly. For my own part, I believe that you should take the right of way according to the rules 99% of the time. But for your consideration, I'll offer this key exception where I think it is good to cede the right of way: in situations where traffic is busy enough that the only way the other car can possibly get out is if someone lets them out. Obviously safety needs to take first priority so this shouldn't be done in all cases; but if its safe to do so, and you can tell that the car waiting to turn or merge is likely going to be stuck for a while if no one makes a conscious choice to let them out, I think it's worthwhile.

Bail reform does not entail granting bail to people who would not otherwise be eligible, it means reducing (or better yet, eliminating) CASH bail. If a judge released someone on any form of bail when there was ample evidence that the person was either a flight-risk or posed a danger to others, that's on the judge - not bail reform. Cash bail is classist bullshit, and needs to go. If a person is deemed safe to be released on bail at all, the size of their bank account shouldn't matter.

No, you see what he has actually done is prove to us that the "so-called experts" don't really know anything, and the opinion of a random twit on social media should be given equal (or even more) credence compared to professionals who have dedicated lifetimes to understanding complex subjects.

Remember kids: vaccines cause autism and facemasks trap in CO2.

Until the consumer base's buying power completely bottoms out because their paychecks haven't kept up with inflation, the circle stops, and the Right gets to see what an actual Communist revolution looks like.

The extremism of a revolution is directly proportional to the abuse to which the oppressed class was subjected. The longer we go without serious economic reform, the bloodier the revolution will be when it comes.
