I genuinely believe Byford could have accelerated the 2nd Ave subway and we might even have been starting phase 3 by now

Cuomo is such a bitch. Couldn’t handle that someone else was actually good at their job and did what they were hired to do. All politics for him. Good riddance

He’s the best in the biz. TfL is running like a smooth ship now and the Elizabeth line is done and humming. Now he’s on to the next agency to fix.

I'm pretty sure this rendering is an exaggeration, Broadway is definitely not this wide if you compare to the size of the people.

Yeah the laws aren’t lacking. It’s the backbone to crack down, which current DAs don’t have. But I guess this wouldn’t hurt

Yeah but the blocks they are talking about, which is most likely 32nd-34th street between 6th and 7th Ave, is quite underbuilt and there are only a handful of one story retail there on the 34th street side and theres a hotel on the 32nd street side that is getting demolished. I think it's a great idea and would reopen Penn Station to return to it's former glory

The act was heinous but the cops are charged with murder already and they were all black which doesn’t fit the previous narrative. There’s not as big a draw for people as there was with George Floyd.

Yes this is exactly his vibe. Like wants to appear like he is the person calling out dysfunction while simultaneously holding power to curb that dysfunction and doing nothing.

Levine is the most annoying politician. I follow almost every NYC politician on both sides of the aisle on twitter but I had to unfollow him, it got too dang annoying. The “complain about problem thoroughly under his control” pattern is the worst

Would almost be impossible given that almost every street down there has a subway line running through it. Would need to go along the east side maybe terminating at Hanover square…but that’s technically the terminus planned for the future phases of 2 Ave line.
