They're asking for a special representative in the state government be created.

This state would be foolish to hold that up as a model to follow.

> that was actually motivation for the electoral college
You're leaving out the part where it was intentionally to give disproportionate power to places with fewer (white land owning) people. It was a shitty system to preserve shitty systems.

Usually isn't too busy weekday evenings.
Will they stop you from skating in the public garden? I've definitely seen people skating there.

Where I work they don't even take a covid test. They just come in and get people sick and act surprised when the other people get covid.
Somewhat related: had a co-worker dealing with a very sick grandkid who when asked didn't even know what RSV is.

I wore shorts and Tevas one winter in college. I couldn't really tell you why.
I'm much more into appropriately warm clothing now.

They're balanced and the weight is good for stopping and turning (less inertia to overcome). With the winter tires to keep you going, it was more controllable than my WRX on snow.

I had a Miata for a few years.
With winter tires it was fucking amazing in the snow.

Logan is close and easy to access. On top of that it's actually a good airport. Huge perk if you fly regularly.

Then find a different list with different metrics. There was another one I saw recently about the transit times and again Boston is near the shortest.
I travel quite a bit and Logan is close, quick, and easy to Boston. Most places are not at all.

Proximity to the airport is part of what makes Boston valuable.

Most of us have to go to that far away one and it sucks. I've been to Milan on business but never been to Milan.

There have been all kinds of ways of showing it over the years, but Boston's situation is unusual.

I mean, you just take a cab/uber. People just don't want to bother though. You can also have a designated driver. It isn't like other places don't have similar (or much worse) transit issues.
I think people on reddit just often greatly overestimate the demand for all night drinking. This isn't a party town. We've mostly got work in the morning.

They asked why bars aren't for these motions. I stated why.
I won't argue that the bars shouldn't be allowed to do whatever. I don't care, but the reason bars aren't pushing for these is because it makes it more difficult to compete.
People should keep in mind that making it even harder to run a successful bar here will mean even fewer local places and more Buffalo-Wildwings-esque places.

It is a weird thing that only a handful of people on reddit seem to care so intensely about. Just like sports betting. Who the fuck actually cares?
I don't want to go out drinking with people after work. If I go out for drinks a happy hour isn't going to change the decision one way or another.

There aren't that many people who would go to the bars later and staffing is already a shit show.
Selling booze for less money isn't a desirable "opportunity." It is just selling product for less. If they choose not to do it then they'll lose business. When they do it to compete, they make less money on the business they already had.
Lose lose for bars.

I think I had to use the e-brake to hold while shifting too since the second foot was already busy clutching. It was a bonkers operation and despite that being probably over 16 years ago it remains a reason I hate street parking.

May well be someone else, but the "hell is real" guy that people occasionally post about here lives in Chelsea I think. At least when I lived in Chelsea I saw him get on/off the bus there.
Also, after living in Chelsea for over a decade, this wouldn't rank anywhere near the worst car related incident I experienced there.

What does the other side look like?
I've posted about it many times, but one morning when we lived in Brighton I came out to my car to find people parked against the front and rear bumper. I had to "wiggle" the car out of the spot using the give in the suspensions of the other cars to get free. My car was a manual too, so it was extra fun.
