Huh? Why would I need to make eye contact or signal either as a pedestrian or as a driver? As I driver, I slow down or stop for the pedestrian. I don’t expect eye contact. As a pedestrian, I cross because I have the right of way. Why would I make eye contact as I cross?

Are you expecting a thank you for letting a pedestrian walk?

Personally, I do not like that area. It’s basically all apartments with a little bit of commercial space. I find it pretty soulless. Being close-ish to Chinatown or Metro Center isn’t at all positive at least for me. I find it’s an inconvenient area. I’d much rather live in Shaw or Logan Circle rather than being a 20 minute walk from the places I actually want to go to. Have you ever been near that Walmart? If you’re listing it as a perk lmao

They all have bunny slopes and lessons. Whitetail, Liberty, and Roundtop are the closest. Timberline and Snowshoe have better snow but aren’t exactly day trips. Go to the closest or wherever your friends are going to ski.

Don’t plan on Ubering. You won’t get a ride back.
