Hear me out, because this is not your likely place to get it. Pioneer Pizza in Warwick has THE BEST HOMEMADE CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP. Hands down the most flavorful and tasty I have found in RI.

I live 2 miles away between Gregg's and Balise. You get used to the noise and only pay attention when they change the traffic pattern. You learn to tune it out.

I refuse to go to Ocean State. Blue Pearl in MA is tip tier. Far better than OS and very good at emergency vet med. Never, EVER trust OS.

I spent many weekends going to the multitude of Goodwill stores in CT. They also have a wide variety of charity shops connected to churches. Have I traveled nearly 2 hours to visit a thrift shop? YES I HAVE! It was a great adventure to find hidden gems. I actually found a Armani blazer for $25 in the Plainville Goodwill! It fit my daughter perfectly too.

I don't have a RI store but I recall a scratch and dent appliance store just over the border in Attleboro. It was next to the Habitat for Humanity Restore on Washington St, Attleboro MA 02703. I think it was Tony's used appliances.

They were phenomenal. The cocktail tables were gorgeous and dinner was delicious. They are very easy to work with and were always checking in with my daughter and groom.

It is $3800 to rent the venue. You must bring in your own tables and chairs for the Mediterranean room reception. Also, 110 max.
We used Blackstone catering. I highly recommend them. Everything was flawless.
It is a beautiful place and we really enjoyed it bit our budget went over by quite a lot for all the add on's.

Those pies have been a hit in my family for over a decade. Everyone always asks me to bring 2 for Thanksgiving and Christmas. They are that good.

I have been trying for the last 20 years. Nothing changes. Once they get into office, they try to do something different but always end up doing the same thing. It's really troubling.

I hate to say this but this is RI. Connections and knowing "a guy " get you far in this state. The senator is well connected. He has time, money and people in right places. It will get messy. Are you ready to fight?

I was listening to WPRO and the DOT was answering questions. He said the first set of signs were put up incorrectly and were going to be swapped. It hasn't happened yet. The second set are correct but the first set, where you have enough time to switch lanes, are up wrong. The signs should be aligned to the denote exit positions.

Not the first time they screwed up. The one I drive by every day is to Quonset. They put the signs up wrong so you think you need to be in the left lane for Quonset only to get find out that one goes to Frenchtown road. Every morning people are swapping lanes and it's an easy fix!

I was 7 for the blizzard of 1978. Lived in Andover, MA. We were out of power for a week and it too 5 days to get plowed out of our cul-de-sac. I thought it was great! A fun adventure. Then I became a parent and started to worry about what I would do if it happened. Thankfully, I moved to RI and never really had to worry over the past 30 years 😄.
Aldo, we didn't have the technology to forecast that we do today so we always have some time before the storm hits. Plenty of time to stock up on bread and milk before the big rush.
